1. Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password safe, and for the activity of staff you invite.
2. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Matterly to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam, or attempt to access another firm’s data.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the permissions needed to host and display it for you.
5. AI features
AI-generated drafts are suggestions. Review them before relying on them or sending them to clients; they are not legal advice.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms and will notify account owners of material changes by email.
